Foundation for Asian American Visibility Applauds Passage of AB 1354 in Senate Education Committee

Los Angeles, CA — The Foundation for Asian American Visibility applauds the passage of AB 1354 (introduced by Assemblymember Mike Fong) in the California State Senate Education Committee. In his role as Founder and Executive Director, Brandon Cheng submitted a formal letter of support before the committee’s hearing on June 14, 2023. We thank Chair Josh Newman, Vice Chair Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh, Senator Dave Cortese, Senator Steven Glazer, Senator Mike McGuire, Senator Lola Smallwood-Cuevas and Senator Scott Wilk for supporting this important bill. The bipartisan support for this bill is encouraging news for California’s vibrant Asian American community.
